The Felsenstein Medical Research Center (FMRC) is a distinguished and sophisticated institute for biomedical research in Israel.

The FMRC, part of the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, is situated in the large clinical complex of the Rabin Medical Center encompassing Beilinson General Hospital, Schneider Children's Medical Center and the Geha Psychiatric Hospital. This location offers unique opportunities for conducting basic research with direct clinical applications, reflected in the research areas being investigated by the scientists.

Facilities include modern and efficient laboratories, experimental surgery units, an animal facility and state of the art scientific equipment. In addition, there is a library, seminar rooms and a 380-seat auditorium equipped with audio-visual systems for the live broadcasting of operations.

The main research fields include molecular and cellular immunology, hemato-oncology, neuroscience and biological psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, genetics and virology.
